ROYAL CANIN Cardiac is specially formulated to help maintain your dog's heart health. This diet contains supportive nutrients such as taurine and L-carnitine, which contribute to maintaining the health of your dog's heart muscle. This formula contains long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA to help support healthy cardiovascular function. This diet is formulated with a low sodium content to help reduce the workload on the heart.

As part of the ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Health Nutrition range, you should only give this product to your pet if a veterinarian recommends it. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be done slowly and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. You must make sure you offer the correct portions, particularly if the diet is mixed.

To meet each dog's individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN Cardiac is also available as a dry food with crunchy kibble.
