ROYAL CANIN Hepatic is specifically formulated to help maintain your dog's liver health in cases of chronic liver failure. This diet contains high-quality protein levels specifically tailored to support healthy liver function.

This diet is intentionally formulated low in copper to help minimize its buildup in your dog's liver cells. This diet has a high energy value to reduce the volume of the ration and reduce your dog's intestinal load.

As part of the ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Health Nutrition range, you should only give this product to your pet if recommended by a veterinarian. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be done slowly and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. You must make sure you offer the correct portions, particularly if the diet is mixed. To suit each dog's individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN Hepatic is also available as a wet food with a pâté-like texture.

RECOMMENDATIONS: it is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using it and prolonging its period of use. Use this food initially for up to 4 months to help liver function in case of chronic liver failure and initially for up to 6 months to reduce the copper present in the liver.
